"Trolley Type Ultra-Energy Saving Belt Conveyor System Key Technology and Equipment Research and Development and Application" Project Passes Scientific and Technological Achievement Appraisal

On September 14th, the scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting of the project "Research and Development and Application of Key Technologies and Equipment for Trolley Type Ultra-Energy Saving Belt Conveyor System" jointly developed by China Resources Building Materials Technology, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Libo Heavy Industries Technology, and China University of Mining and Technology was held at Zhaoqing Runxin Company. Ji Youhong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Resources Building Materials Technology, Vice President Zheng Qinghong, Vice Chairman of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Gao Huanzhi, Director of the Taian Science and Technology Bureau Liu Guimin, Chairman of Libo Heavy Industries Zhou Manshan, Professor Zhang Yuan from Shandong University of Science and Technology, as well as leaders and guests from the Holding Operations Management Department, Science and Technology Innovation Department, and Zhaoqing Runxin Company attended the meeting.

 

The appraisal of this achievement was organized by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and the expert appraisal team consisted of nine experts including Academician Gui Weihua, Wang Guofa, Wu Aixiang from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and President Ma Wenhui of Yunnan University. After fully inspecting the production site, reviewing the appraisal materials, listening to on-site reports, and expert inquiries, the expert appraisal team highly praised the scientific and technological achievements and innovation breakthroughs of the project, unanimously agreeing that the overall technology of the project has reached an international leading level.

 

During the meeting, the "Research and Development and Application of Monitoring and Control Methods for Long-Distance Energy-Saving Belt Conveyor System" project and the "Research and Development and Application of Key Technologies for a New Generation of Energy-Saving Space Turning Belt Conveyor System" project, which are complementary to this technology, also passed the achievement appraisal. Both projects were comprehensively evaluated as reaching an international advanced level, with the dynamic load detection technology of the transport machine and the trolley space turning technology reaching an international leading level.

 

Chairman Ji Youhong expressed his gratitude to the academicians, leaders, and experts who attended the appraisal meeting amidst their busy schedules in his closing speech. He pointed out that the product conveying long belt gallery is a key factor for Zhaoqing Runxin Company to achieve a daily production of 100,000 tons of aggregate, and the trolley-type belt conveyor technology used is another innovative move following the construction of the 52-kilometer long cement belt gallery in Fengkai by China Resources Building Materials Technology. In the future, China Resources Building Materials Technology will adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deeply study and implement the important speeches and instructions on scientific and technological innovation work, forge new advantages with new quality productive forces, continuously strengthen the research and development and application of new products, materials, and technologies, solidly promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing industries, and stimulate new momentum for high-quality development.

 

This technology subverts the traditional "roller support type" belt conveyor structure and introduces a new "double-beam support structure," effectively eliminating compression resistance. It has successfully developed a complete set of "trolley-type" ultra-energy-saving belt conveyor equipment, as well as high-torque density, high-performance heat dissipation structure permanent magnet motors and intelligent control monitoring systems compatible with this model, with outstanding advantages of ultra-low energy consumption and adaptability to complex environments. Currently, this technology has been applied in the aggregate transportation of Runxin New Materials Company, with a total length of 7.8 kilometers for the trolley-type belt conveyor, consisting of two lines, designed with a single-line capacity of 5,000 tons per hour, achieving the world's first large-scale application. Since its implementation, it has shown significant energy-saving and carbon reduction effects.
